We heard the heartbeat today!!!!

It. was. amazing. :)
That is a moment I will never forget.
Samuel told me that today is the anniversary of his Pop's death - his Pop was so special to him. I thought it was neat that we heard the heartbeat today - a beautiful reminder of the circle of life :)
I'm 15.5 weeks. We were hoping to get to find out the sex today but she pushed me off until January 5th. :( Oh well. The midwife did say she thought it sounded like a boy - there's an old wives tale that says if the heartbeat is slower its a boy - and if its fast, its a girl. We'll see if she's right on the 5th. I personally am confused now. I felt early on that it would be a boy - no reason why, just had a feeling. Then I switched to thinking it was a girl. And all I have looked at is girl names. But now I'm confused. Any takers?
No change in the belly. I'll post new pics soon anyhow. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!! I ate way too much. But I always remember my family and how thankful I am to have you all :) xoxo
I'm working on finals this week and next - trying to pull off all A's. Thank you Mom for the type A :) Please keep me in your prayers - trying to graduate with honors....
Then next week on the 11th we will be leaving for Gatlinburg, TN for a wedding. On the 14th we will head to Texas and then when we get to Texas we will be heading to Comfort and Austin for a little visit. After Texas, we will head home on the 21st to return home just in time for me to start an externship at Grady Hospital in downtown Atlanta. I got this externship in the surgical ICU and it's PAID!!! So excited. I'll get to see all kinds of fun stuff. Grady is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in the vicinity so you can imagine the types of patients I will have.
Then we will be off to Statesboro for a couple of days and then back to Atlanta for the Chik-fil-A Bowl!!! Go Jackets!!!!
Til next time...
